These ex police items are sold for security or theatrical use, it is an offence to pretend to be a police officer so most of the ex police items I sell do have the police badges removed. 
If some items do have police on them they must only be worn for theatrical or genuine police use only. 
In some cases I may require proof of you being in the theatrical or police business.
The Vests are used ex police and have gone past the official use by date of 5 years hence now been available for the 2nd hand market, they may offer protection but as kevlar degrades over time no guarantee is given or implied over the protection levels given.
